I'll have to do the ugly post and share. That doesn't mean they won't grow here--but I think I'll try this one.
Have you tried the hot-sauce recipe to spray on plants you don't want the rabbits eating? It's supposed to be quite effective against deerAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12107236871193698777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488599.post-1413884383545253412007-07-09T16:05:00.000-04:002007-07-09T16:05:00.000-04:00Sorry to hear about your hosta! I had a deer problem just once this year, and it was MY fault for letting too many weeks go by between "liquid fence" sprayings-darn me, anyhow!lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18133943147518051559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488599.post-38296847605406434062007-07-09T07:31:00.000-04:002007-07-09T07:31:00.000-04:00It rained last night so I'm happy without even ste...It rained last night so I'm happy without even stepping in the garden! I'm not sure how big your hosta is, but if it's not too big you can make a dome of chicken wire over it so it can grow back unmolested. That won't protect it from slugs, though. While you're at it, cover the uneaten one, too.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11106962533729909868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488599.post-16614834150459897382007-07-09T00:51:00.000-04:002007-07-09T00:51:00.000-04:00Candy lilies sound really nice. I googled them and they look nice too.

I've had a good couple of days in the garden, without any catastrophes, so I would say I have an overall feeling of gladness. I found the canker worm who was eating my redbud leaves, and I squished him. That felt especially nice.
