I planted cantaloupe, acorn squash, a couple summer squashes, and bush cucumbers at my garden across the street a number of days ago, and they have been taking longer to come up than the cucumbers I planted at home. I was starting to wonder if they are going to come up, but have noticed one of the summer squashes is up. Hopefully, the others will come up soon, as well.

Good news, I just saw a squash seedling come up where I thought I had destroyed all the 'Horn of Plenty' seedlings. I might get some of that variety, yet!

I enlarged the last photo. I love your veggie garden, and I didn't even notice weeds in the path. You have lots of peas there! My spinach is finished, too. Our cooler temps in NE are extending the lettuce season some. Lettuce is my favorite crop.

Carol, those vegetables are making me hungry! I am looking forward to having my first vegetable garden. I'm torn between raised beds or trying to landscape with them, as I've seen some do. Well, nothing is going to happen until I tackle the weeds in that portion of the yard...

All that fresh produce displayed on your bench looks like you just returned from the Farmer's Market and it makes me very hungry for a salad. That one lima bean plant made me laugh. Can't even remember the last time I ate one, but now you've got me thinkin' about them.
