Garden fairies here.
We are garden fairies and we cannot remember when we last posted on this blog but we know it was a while ago.
We are a little miffed that readers didn't clamor for us to write something sooner but we will get over it and besides we are far too busy to spend time here on this blog. After all, it is spring and we have flowers to open up all over the garden, including this white clematis.
No, we don't know the name of this clematis because Carol is lax and lazy, yes lax and lazy, when it comes to plant tags. She just throws them in a big ol' trug and figures when she wants to know the name of a plant, like this white clematis, she will just go look for the tag.
Well, that worked for the first hundred or so tags. Maybe it worked for the first two hundred or so tags. But believe us garden fairies, it no longer works. Carol needs to sit down and sort through all the tags around here and throw out those for departed plants, after a suitable moment of silence to remember them, and then at least put the rest of the tags in groups.
Maybe she can group the tags by flower borders. Plopper's Field, Bird's Blanket, August Dreams Gardens, Woodland Follies, the Shrubbery and The Garden of Southern Follies and Delights, to name a few. Though, let us garden fairies tell you that tags for plants in The Garden of Southern Follies and Delights will require a lot of moments of silence to remember them but that is a story for another day.
We are garden fairies and we are writing to report that we think Carol's actual obsession is buying plants. We have never seen the likes of plant buying as we've seen this spring. And many of the new plants haven't been planted yet. There are a bunch on the front porch and a bunch on the back patio.
We are watching closely and if Carol doesn't get everything planted in the next few days we are going to take away her keys and not let her go to the greenhouse any more. Wait, how are we going to take her keys?
We are garden fairies.
Anyway, we will think of something suitable to do if more plants don't get planted soon.
And can we talk about weeds for just a minute. We are convinced Carol doesn't understand that weeding is not a Once and Done activity. Though we commend her for the great job she did weeding a few weeks ago, we need her to stop buying plants and look around. The weeds are back.
Well, as you can read, the situation around here, between plants waiting to be planted, weeds taking advantage of Carol's inattention, and tags lost all over the place, is become somewhat dire and we garden fairies aren't going to put up with it for much longer.
We are giving her this week to get this situation under control.
We are garden fairies.

I'm Nadezda. I'd liked to have some garden fairies in my garden as well. I'd want more warmth here for my plants.
